Sensasian tends to take FOREVER to load. But, they have some neat stuff and decent prices. (Well, that Tony Alva thing is pretty pricey, but it IS limited edition and all...) I ordered the standard edition of Infernal Affairs III from them, and they ended up sending me the boxset. So that was cool.

But then, just as the death and ultimate sellout of Napster yielded better programs like Soulseek and even, in a sense, Bit Torrent, the crack down on Bit Torrent will only lead to an even better method of download and likely with improved encryption. Because, I mean, really...the only use the internet serves is finding free porn and bootlegs.

Another Exorcist coming to theatres

Why isn't Paul Schrader's cut of "The Exorcist : The Beginning" listed as an extras component on the soon-to-be-released DVD?
Easy : His version is set to be released as a stand-alone movie all of its own.
"Paul is currently in post-production on the movie, as we're anticipating a limited theatrical release here in the United States sometime in 2005", Morgan Creek told Moviehole this morning.
When Schrader was hired to do the film, he was told to deliver a "non-pea soup" take.
"They made it clear -- no spinning heads and no pea soup," he told Daily Variety earlier this year. "So that's what I delivered, but then they changed their mind."
Stay tuned for an official release date for Schrader's cut.

"i was up close to the stage on the side where DBD was playing.... then i saw the guy jump out of the crwod onto the stage... he was yelling something about how "you broke up pantera.... you ruined my life.... what about phil??? he needs heroin money..." or something like that then i saw the gun and he shot DBD right in the head... when DBD went down he kept shooting"

There is never, ever, ever a need to bring a baby/toddler to a movie. Ever. Besides, isn't 7 pm a nice bedtime for kids under 6? It was many years ago, but I think that's what it was for me.

Artists, Musicians and the Internet Survey
From the Pew Internet & American Life Project:
"Their overall judgment is that unauthorized online file-sharing does not pose a major threat to creative industries: Two-thirds of artists say peer-to-peer file sharing poses a minor threat or no threat at all to them."
and
"Across the board, among those who are both successful and struggling, the artists and musicians we surveyed are more likely to say that the internet has made it possible for them to make more money from their art than they are to say it has made it harder to protect their work from piracy or unlawful use."
and
"...most (60%) [of the artists surveyed] believe that the RIAA campaign [of suing individuals who share] will not benefit them."
and
"Of those artists who download music files (n=118), most think that downloading has not really changed the total amount they spend on music purchases like CDs, concerts, or other music products (58% say this). Another 29% say they think downloading has actually increased what they spend on music purchases overall, and 13% say it has decreased their purchases. Likewise, among artists who either download music or video files (n=139), 86% say that when they download files for free, they usually end up supporting the artist or author in other ways, such as buying a CD or book or going to a performance. Just over half of all artists who download music or video files say they can’t always tell if it’s legal or illegal to download media files from the internet. More than two-thirds of the sample said they don’t currently pay to download any type of media files, but they would if the price, quality and choice they want become available."
I reckon the RIAA better start suing their own artists, too. Pretty soon, they'll have sued themselves out of both the people who make the music they're "protecting" and the people who buy it.

In honor of our Dan's new blog, Shaolin Shuffle, I present to you a paragraph of vaguely incoherent gibberish.
This hour which maintains is afternoon of Saturday and Elli is having a bowl of hair in the sleep chamber. We have begun hardly rewatching Buffy the slayer of vampire it with the beginning. Perhaps late we'll that happened they go obtain a sure one to you chicken, are received, which the cockerel his complete surplus of movies, that will hold DVD and highly also continuing with. And with the baby, who comes now that even fewer serums with purchase drawer with buying. But really, how differently we are that the child go to the school intrigued as otherwise dances in the wonders that is cinematography? We can't let be teh child only to grow to develop itself in on only current drawer of success plays Hollywood, are possible us? I mean, that's such as a regular diet of Fiddle Faddle and RC Kola Fluffer usefulness-delicate ones. Or malnutritious it somewhat straight. Yours assumes. Fortune teller. Isn't of people?
